Kranjska Gora features the best four-season entertainment,
sporting and recreational centre in the Julian Alps. This picturesque
small town, surrounded by the impressive scenery of the mountains,
lies on the outskirts of the Triglav National Park*, 810 metres
above sea level and very close to the intersection of three borders
between Slovenia, Austria and Italy. In winter, the snow lends
a very romantic appearance, whereas summers here are comfortably

In wintertime, Kranjska Gora offers sports, fun
and delightful social life. It is especially suitable for young
families and anyone wishing to learn how to ski. Some of the possibilities

Winter sports centre for alpine skiing and
snowboarding: 30 km of excellently prepared runs and
a skiing range, all with the option of artifficial snow and night
skiing.
Cross-country skiing on more than 40 km of well-maintained
trails.
Swimming in the Aqua Larix wellness centre.
Sledding on dedicated slopes or down toboggan runs, in
the daytime or night-time by torchlight.
Riding a motor sled on the round track by Kranjska Gora.
Tour skiing or extreme skiing accompanied by an Alpine

In the summertime, the mild and cool climate
transforms Kranjska Gora into a pleasant green valley that offers
a variety of possibilities, being an excellent starting point
for numerous sporting and adrenaline activities or just a place
to share good company and relax amidst nature:
It’s an exquisite starting point for hiking in
a magnificent environment offering plenty of opportunities for
spending time in nature.
Biking on over 150 km of marked and well-maintained trails,
many of which are also suitable for roller-skating.
Bike Park for extreme bikers: free ride; descents
down tables, jumps, swings and other obstacles; downhill track
and dirt jump park. Extreme sport fans will also love the mountain
biking possibilities.
Mountaineering and climbing on the mighty peaks and mountains
in the vicinity.
Golf exercise grounds: three playing fields, driving
range and putting green.
Horse riding, riding school and unforgettable riding
excursions into nature.
Water sports on the emerald Soča river or on the Sava:
canyoning, canoeing, kayaking and rafting.
