17th SPECIAL  EURO SIGHTHOUND CLUB SHOW

Dear club members and visitors!

On Friday, 01/10/2010 the 17th SPECIAL EURO SIGHTHOUND CLUB SHOW took place in Velenje. This is our largest project in the history of the club. It's a great success for all of us who participated in the preparation and organization of this show, as well as all the exhibitors who showed their sighthounds . Online there was 310 dogs from 23 countries. Most from Russia, followed by Italy and Slovenia. The most Interesting was  numbers of entered dogs by breeds, where the Irish wolfhounds (57) took the lead, followed by Whippets (51) and PLI (41). The first time in history of our clubshows all breeds of FCI 10th group - Sighthounds  were represented. There was also a special show for Silken windhounds (american breed in formation) in cooperation with the parent organization from USA (ISWS). Friday BIS winner was after dramatic finals in the BIS ring saluki Shiraz California Dreamin, which  he has repeated two days later at EDS 2010 in Celje. A big thanks to all club members who visited our show and again proved the quality of our own, slovenian breeding of sighthound. Images from the exhibition can also be viewed on our Facebook.
